<hi style=afpcap>One of the most successful light transport aircraft produced during the early '40s, the Beech 18 was built as the AT-7, AT-11 and C-45 series, with more than 4, 000 examples acquired for the US military. The AT-7 was ordered in 1941 for the Army as a navigational trainer version of the C-45 with positions for three students in the rear cabin. The basic AT-7 was followed by three additional version, with the AT-7A fitted as a floatplane, although only six of this type were produced.
